What is this strange industrial looking object? What could it be? Is it a contraption for torture? Is it something used for picking your nose? (ouch!) Maybe its a multi-button-puller-onner-thingy.

Ok, I'm guessing here, that since you took this, maybe it was lunch time and you were eating...and it's the pattern on the end of a piece of silverware...lol!
Is it a wrench?
I was going to say a coin, but now that I look a lil closer Im going with belt buckle.
I believe it is the side of a wrench that is used to keep your grip on it.
