"cathy" has guess correctly. It is a SEA URCHIN. Note the key clue-It is of the aquatic persuasion not to be confused with the kind that roam the streets. Then it would be a "STREET URCHIN".
Ah, this was a fun few days! I promise next week it will be something we see or use everyday. Let your brains rest up and get ready for the titillating (heehee i said titillating) photo for the next "Tell Me Tuesday".
